Our aim

Our aim is for the Christian community in Southampton to be visibly engaged at the heart of coordinated and effective social change in the city, and for every inhabitant to have a growing understanding of the hope and positive impact that Christians, the church, and Jesus can bring.

Who We Are

Love Southampton is an initiative of a broad range of churches in Southampton, a diverse community of people united in our love for God, and our love for our city.

We exist to be:

●  a voice that helps represent the Christian community in Southampton

●  a catalyst mobilising people to be involved in loving and serving the city

●  a network connecting and empowering people to bring about social transformation

What We Do

Flowing from that vision, we’ve formed four collaborative networks consisting of key organisations and individuals in each area:

Please visit the relevant network page using the links above, where you can find out more about the work that’s being done in each area, and contact the network leaders to get involved.

We also work closely with a number of other partner charities and organisations working across an even broader range of issues including mental health, refugees & asylum seekers, families, the elderly, domestic violence, and more.

For more information and a full list of our partner organisations please visit our partners page.

Coronavirus

In March 2020, in response to the Coronavirus pandemic, we were able to quickly and effectively implement a co-ordinated, strategic response focusing on 6 key areas of need, with 4 approaches.

To find out more about our work responding to the effects of Coronavirus, please see our dedicated Coronavirus page.
