During the Coronavirus outbreak, SCM are providing food and basic toiletries to needy and vulnerable people in Southampton.

To qualify for support: you need a SCM Basics Bank online referral voucher. If you are genuinely in need of emergency food aid, there are multiple referral agents around the city who can help you to obtain a voucher: social workers, charities, churches, advice agencies, housing associations, mental health workers, some surgeries, local government departments. If you cannot get hold of any of these organisations, try Southampton CC Welfare Line (023 8001 0883)

To volunteer: Please click the ‘I can help’ button at the bottom of the page. We are likely to need more volunteers for delivery drivers, food parcel packing, stock control, basic computer admin e.g. voucher checking, etc.

To donate: We are in urgent need of food and essential toiletries.
